Which Peugeot E-208 Models and Variants Are There? A simple overview
Since the introduction in 2019 of the Peugeot e-208 there have been a couple of improvements on the e-208. Because of this improvements we basically have different versions of the e-208.
e-208 versions
I am living in Germany and the first Peugeot e-208 became available there at the end of 2019. The roll-out of the e-208 in Europe was not everywhere at the same time so in some countries is also came available early 2021.
Peugeot e-208 (2019)
This is the first electric version that is created from the model 208. It was introduced with liquid cooled 50 kWh battery and a 7.4 kW onboard charger. The advertised WLTP range was 340 km. Optional you could chose faster onboard charger with 11 kW.
Peugeot e-208 (2022)
In the end of 2021 Peugeot announced that they would upgrade there e-208 slightly. All the models that would be delivered in 2022 would get this upgrade. Some hardware and software modifications where implemented to boost the range with 22 km. This mean the WLTP range advertised is now 362 km. The gear ratio was optimized to increase the range when driving on longer motorway trips. Furthermore the e-208 will be delivered with more efficient tires and a new heat pump with a new sensor. This heat pump together with the sensor should be more efficient according to Stellantis.
Models
The e-208 was available in three basic models: Active, Allure and GT. And for every variant there was an Active variant some extra options. I will only list the differences below in a table. I have investigated the differences by comparing all the listed default options for each variant on the German version of the Peugeot website (peugeot.de on 27.02.2022)
